dinner

Nijumaru Japanese Restaurant Prospect brings a lively slice of Tokyo-style dining to Prospect, with an all-you-can-eat spread that keeps the tempo high and the plates coming. The soundtrack of Japanese anime songs sets a playful mood, while the buzz of conversation and the clink of chopsticks give the room an easy, convivial energy.

On the table, it is a tour of familiar favourites and well-loved flavours. Think pristine slices of salmon and tuna, neat nigiri, and crisp little parcels of chicken or pork gyoza. Bowls arrive brimming, from salmon teriyaki don to the rich comfort of unagi don, while chuka idako salad and the briny kick of tako wasabi add character between bites. There is crunch from chicken kara-age and katsu chicken, a flourish of soft shell crab rolled just so, and the warmth of salmon teppan or braised beef from the grill. To finish, a green tea panna cotta whispers of something sweet and serene.

Ordering is slick and simple via QR code, and the team keeps things moving with swift service and tidy tables, making it an easy choice for groups, families and spontaneous suppers. Settle in, browse, and let curiosity lead the way — this is a feast best tackled with an open mind and an even bigger appetite.
