Food was average, service was good and even got complimentary garlic bread!

It started off with great friendly service. We got there a bit early and asked to sit as they were pretty much empty and they allowed us. We got our drinks promptly but then they had technical issues with our food ordering. It was about 35-40 minutes after ordering we were notified that the kitchen didnt receive our order so it will be another 10 minutes. They gave us complimentary 2 pieces of garlic bread however it turned out to be a 15-20 minute wait. During the wait it was nice to sit and enjoy the family friendly atmosphere. The mains were a good size for the price. I couldnt finish my rib eye, however it may have been because it was too well done when I ordered medium rare which made it a bit chewy and not as appetizing. I didnt want to send it back as I already waited so long for my food. The pomme puree was great though, as were the mushrooms. They also apologised again for the long wait by giving us an extra pannacotta when we only ordered 1 as I knew I wouldnt finish one whole dessert myself. It was a really nice gesture but it wouldve been better if they just took it off the bill instead as it wasnt very flavorful. Looking past the long wait, I would still give it a 3/5 for the food. Value was ok. $66 all up for 2 mains, 2 drinks and a dessert. I wouldnt pay full price for what I received though. This may have just been a bad night with the technical issues which may have lead to stress and not putting enough focus on the food this overcooking my steak. Hopefully they have fixed their issues.
