Experience authentic local flavour and service with a smile at Sapori D’Italia, a family-friendly Italian restaurant in Sydney’s Kirrawee.

Stepping inside this neighbourhood gem feels like coming home. The staff are welcoming and the décor is rustic and unpretentious, with warm-hued lighting adding a hint of intimacy and framed prints taking you right to the streets of Italy.

Your international trip continues as the food lands on your table. Entice your taste buds with arancini or a smaller entrée to start, and continue your meal with one of the pasta or risotto dishes, or perhaps a main.

Diners rave about the delicious woodfired pizza at this restaurant. Enjoy the smoky flavour of the base layered with the most appetising toppings and just the right amount of cheese.

The kids will be kept satisfied here too, with a small children’s menu that’s perfect for the little ones in your life.

And, for the perfect way to finish your meal, who could go past the chocolatey goodness of a Nutella pizza? Your only problem will be deciding if you want to share.

Order the wood fired pizza! They were of good quality. The pasta and salad dishes we had weren't that great, and the veal was very small for a main meal and overdone.
Setting and service were adequate for a neighbourhood restaurant.

Decor and table arrangement has been upgraded since last visit and this has greatly improved the atmosphere in the restaurant. We had chicken schnitzel, gnocchi provencale and baked barramundi fillet for mains, all cooked well and very tasty. Fish served with only one side however which made it look rather small on the plate.Must try the polenta chips with gorgonzola sauce. Yum! The gelato scoops were good value as a desert for $5.

Not to the standard we had come to expect from other First Table experiences. The atmosphere was that of a takeaway restaurant, with loud pop music and delivery drivers a constant distraction.

We were the only group seated but despite this, the food took a long time to come. We ordered two pasta dishes, both of which were of very poor quality and it was clear they were not freshly made, we left most of it behind. Overall it was a disappointing experience for our anniversary.

To their credit the service was attentive and friendly.

Food was amazing. The restaurant was very busy so we did have to wait a long time for food and water. Otherwise it was an amazing experience
