Chiosco by Ormeggio sits on the wharf of North Shore Suburbs, its bright and breezy dining room with light woods and splashes of nautical blue offering sweeping views of Mosman Bay. It’s quintessentially Italian in theme with a cheerful trattoria vibe and jazzy beats floating over the airwaves. This is a destination designed for long, languid meals and lively conversation fuelled by exceptional cuisine.

When it comes to mealtimes, local chefs and diners alike flock for the fresh pasta – Chiosco by Ormeggio boasts hand-crafted fettuccine and potato dumplings. The 'spaghetti ai frutti di mare', meanwhile, is a summer classic with spaghetti mingling with the sea's finest fruits – clams, mussels, calamari, scampi and prawns – in a heart-stopping smoked bisque.

Keen for a tipple? The bar shelves the popular Chiosco wines, its own Chiosco brand crafted to match everything on the menu – think Prosecco and Pinots for sunset sipping – alongside classic Italian concoctions such as the Negroni and spritz.

Don’t have all day/night to lounge and take in the stunning harbour sights? Grab your order to-go from nearby Ormeggio, where you're free to wander.

With its crisp, sun-shade white tables, blue-rimmed glasses and tiered terrace of locals and regulars, Chiosco by Ormeggio offers the perfect Mediterranean-style alfresco lunch or night out sans shoes.
