It's led by Head Chef Julien Audibert whose decades of experience in French kitchens has informed L'Heritage's approach. The restaurant itself plays with rustic and bistro characteristics, creating a destination that is subtle, calm and distinguished.
French cuisine - nay French living - is not to be rushed and L'Heritage is encouraging diners to unwind with sophisticated small plates to warm up the appetite. Rillettes of smoked salmon are paired with lemon and dill, snails are poached and accompanied by roasted confit garlic, and fresh scallops are transformed into a melt-in-the-mouth carpaccio with pistachios for texture.
Mains serve up bigger portions that involve quality cuts of meat and seafood prepared the French way. Up first is bouillabaisse that hosts mussels, prawns, salmon and barramundi in a rich bisque. Then, there's the classic duck a l'orange with a dash of fennel and orange duck jus, as well as other perfectly executed plates that need no introduction. Finally, no French meal is complete without something sweet. Whether that means patisserie, creamy panna cotta or tarte tatin is completely up to you.
