Cuisine: Greek
Price Point: Mains from $15 - $35

Greek culture, food and music combine at Koutouki, a vibrant Greek restaurant in Sydney’s Leichhardt. If you’re looking to celebrate or catch up with a mate in a cheerful and relaxed environment, this is the place for you.

The interior here is as warm and inviting as the friendly service you’ll receive from the waitstaff. This venue has been named “Sydney’s favourite little Greek taverna” by the Inner West Times newspaper—and we can see why.

The menu includes a list of appetisers (perfect for sharing!) and the traditional Greek mains you’d expect from a venue such as this. Moussaka, saganaki, souvlakia—it’s like a who’s who of Greek food, and we know and love every one of them. A traditional meze plate inspired by the Gods of Olympus is also prepared on-site for you and your family to enjoy.

Some traditional Greek desserts are available as well, with wines, beers and spirits available to complement your meal.

Reviews

Still thinking of that perfectly grilled juicy octopus while I am writing this review. Koutouki exceeded far beyond our expectation with our dining experience. We ordered so many dishes and were very close to lick the plate. The seafood were so fresh and well treated with the seasoning yet still retain their natural sweet flavour, the service was very warm and welcoming & engaging. The calamari was so fresh, juicy and tender with lightly battered one of the best I have tried. The cabbage rolls are so light and full of amazing flavours and even a very simple mixed dips with grilled pita breads also blown our minds & taste buds off to the top. We all can not wait to return to try all the other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended !

We were welcomed into Koutouki on that apocalyptic day of floods and we had such a wonderful experience and made it worth leaving our house. The food was the best Greek food I have ever had in Australia. It is authentic, made with beautiful fresh ingredients and most importantly made with love. The wine is even organic and so reasonably priced. The owner Georgia is a gorgeous soul and treats you like you are part of the family which makes the experience stand out even more. Most of the menu is gluten free and they even serve reverse osmosis water which was such an awesome treat. We had a few dishes and the stand out was the mixed dips and moussaka, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We are really looking forward to going back on a Sat night to hear the music and try more of the delicious menu. The whole place had such a beautiful vibe to it and will be back soon. I dont normally leave reviews but this was such a great experience that I had too.

We had a dinner for 4 people and the food and service was excellent. The restaurant wasn't very busy which surprised us as its a real hidden gem. Great home style Greek cooking with a welcoming and charismatic host! we'll definitely go back
