Bellevue Cottage by Antoine brings classic French elegance to Sydney’s Inner West, set within the heritage-listed Bellevue on Glebe’s Blackwattle Bay. Terrace tables soak up the breeze, and inside, historic dining rooms whisper of another era. It’s a serene, storybook setting that feels both special and effortlessly welcoming.

In the kitchen, Chef Antoine channels a world-class background into modern French cooking shaped by local produce and fine technique. Familiar comforts arrive with a twist - perhaps a whimsical Burgundy snail Parmentier, or beef cheek bourguignon glossed in a red and white jus. From the Bellevue mushroom pie, packed with market mushrooms, roasted eshalote and ratatouille condiments, to confit crispy duck leg brightened by minted green peas and bittersweet orange jus, flavours land with precision and poise.

Desserts lean indulgent and playful - think buttery apple and rhubarb crumble topped with vanilla ice cream, or Mozart au chocolat et aux noix, a daily baked chocolate and walnut brownie, for a sweet farewell to the bay.

The mood is unhurried and convivial, whether it’s a lingering meal on the terrace or an intimate table within the historic rooms. Set your compass for Blackwattle Bay, take a seat at Bellevue Cottage by Antoine, and let the evening drift by in delicious French fashion.
