dinner

Set within The Olympic Hotel on Moore Park Road, 308 Olives offers a Mediterranean-inspired escape in the heart of Paddington. This modern, welcoming bistro strikes a fine balance between a relaxed pub spirit and a more polished dining experience.

The meal begins with convivial shared plates: bowls of hummus glossed with parsley tahina and sumac, and baba ganoush finished with crispy chilli. From there, falafel with smoky tomato relish and BBQ prawns in tomato caper butter prepare you for what's to come.

Mains span the bistro-to-bar spectrum. Choose between steak frites or a chicken parmigiana layered with roasted tomato sugo, mortadella, and a rich mushroom ragu. To finish, the bougatsa pairs crisp filo and orange semolina custard with black cherries and blood orange olive oil.

Its Paddington address keeps you close to the action, yet the pace remains delightfully unhurried. Drop by, settle in, and take a short trip to the Mediterranean without ever leaving Moore Park Road.
