Cuisine: Mexican
Price Point: Mains from $25 - $35

Get ready to feast on delicious Mexican food in a vibrant environment at Baja Cantina. Located on Sydney’s Glebe Point Road, this is the perfect place for your next fiesta.

This restaurant is the vision of chef Robert Comings, who longed to bring the fresh and tasty Californian style of Mexican food to the land 'down under'.

The menu is full of classic dishes you know and love. From nachos to quesadillas to ceviche to dips and appetisers, they're all simply mouth-watering. Follow this up with a Baja Cantina speciality, like the California burrito, or classics like a chimichanga. A limited dessert menu is also on offer.

Baja Cantina is a fully licensed restaurant, with beer, wine, cocktails, mezcals and tequila on offer. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Mexican experience without a jug of sangria to wash your meal down.

You can dine in the casual beer garden or in the atmospheric and cheerful interior and is the ideal place to dine at with a group of friends, or family.

Wonderful (and well priced) food and a very authentic decor!

This was my first experience with First Table, as well as my first time at Baja Cantina!! I was excited (and nervous). We were sat promptly and the service throughout our sitting was great! We were given as much attention as all of the other diners paying full price! We ordered Empanadas, Jalapeno Flamers, Chip and salsa with Chorizo and potatoes; Chicken Suiza, California Burrito and the Enchirito -- all delicious! Even though they are not part of the deal, it's worth mentioning that their cocktails are yummy, too. Particularly the Strawberry Daquiri! Will definitely return!

Vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. We were offered a lovely table by the window. So many dishes to choose from and amazingly generous serves so make sure you are hungry. Margaritas complement the food. We tried the three dips, calamari, prawn fajitas and vegetarian tacos.

Baja Cantina is always a hit to bring friends to with great food and service, very reasonably priced. The Fajita's are always a favourite with a margarita on the side.
