It took a few attempts to get the First Table booking for this venue because it books out very quickly, it was well worth the effort. We had lunch and our table of four were very impressed with the food and service. The Barramundi, mussels & saffron, carrot, fennel, tomato main that I ordered was the best fish dish I have ever eaten.

We had a wonderful time at the glass brasserie. Food, service and ambience were all excellent. My favourite dish of the night was the lamb rump which was full of flavour and melt in your mouth.

It was amazing! Even though we had been booked through first table we were sat in one of the best seats!! The waiters were all so lovely and were so attentive. Filling our glasses throughout the meal and always checking in. I don’t think my wine glass was ever not full! The food was top notch and the whole experience was perfect for our anniversary dinner.

always reliable food and service at a high standard. spacious and well-lit (natural-light) dining room - great ambiance to talk and enjoy great food. see photos. Saw Luke Mangan on the way out, he asked what we had and was happy to oblige for a selfie :)

I was catching up with a friend visiitng from Canada and the setting was perfect for the occasion - leisurely atmosphere and service with attentiveness pitched at the right level. Standard of food was as good as I had expected, but the surprises came from the humbler items - a rocket salad and a green salad that were fresh and well put together, and the best lemon and ginger tea that I had ever had!

- dined at glass brasserie on

Very professional service from start to finish. Oysters 6 ways were fantastic. Steak was nicely done. The restaurant also had a great wine selection. My guest was very impressed. Thank you.

Wow Luke! You've done it again. The prawns in the entrée were so fresh, so large and so delicious. From someone who was in the seafood industry we know how hard it is to source prawns such as these.
The lamb was like marshmallow - the best we have eaten; the snapper was generous and perfectly cooked - how easy it is to overcook seafood.
Together with the mushrooms and the coffee asa well as a superb Vouvray we have eaten spectacularly.
Thank you.

Was extremely impressed From the initial welcome, to the beautiful open feel of the restaurant then to the execution of the food, everything was excellent. Professional and friendly service from an informative sommelier and a lovely surprise hello from Chef Luke Mangan himself. Will definitely be back.

We loved our experience. Food was absolutely delicious, and we were impressed with the portion sizes as well (we ended up over-ordering a bit). Highlights were the Scotch steak with a side of mushrooms, and the king prawn entrees. Overall, we can see why it's so hard to get tables here on First Table, it's worth it

Wow what an experience we had. The food was amazing and they had a wonderful selection of wines. Would highly recommend. The desert was the best I have ever had.

Had an outstanding meal at Glass Brasserie! Cannot fault anything, the food was delicious and service attentive. 2 stand out dishes for our table were beef tartare and pork main (one of the best pork dishes I've ever had). Will definitely return.

On my first visit to The Glass Brasserie for breakfast last Sunday morning, I was very impressed. Although crowded, we were seated promptly at a lovely table overlooking George Street. The customer service was five star and this was matched by the breakfast itself. Fantastic coffee, a large selection of quality hot and cold choices to select from. I went for the vegetable omelette which was sensational. I also really loved the orange and beetroot juice. The ambience of the entire reataurant was humming. I will certainly be returning to The Glass Brasserie at The Sydney Hilton.

We did the breakfast buffet. Great service, it was busy by the time we got there but the tables are spaced such that you don't feel like you are sitting on top of others. Nice selection of food. Nice atmosphere. A special treat to start the day! Will definitely do it again!

Food divine. Very Good service.

I took 2 clients out for lunch and they were really impressed with the service and menu. There's a great variety of meat, fish and vegetarian and vegan options and each dish is cooked superbly with amazing accompanying sauces.
It's a clean, modern restaurant that is great for meetings as not noisy but has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I took my friend here for her birthday celebration. We absolutely have had a great time catching up in such a relaxing environment. The food is fantastic and the service is top notch. This place is highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind and relax after work.

What a fabulous experience. The oysters 6 ways and the crab omelette at Glass Brassiere to die for. The service amazing! Topped a perfect meal with an overnight stay at the Hilton! Great idea I must say! Great room, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed and fantastic pool! Thank you Glass Brassiere and the Hilton! I'LL BE BACK SOON!

- dined at glass brasserie on

Our experience at Glass Brasserie was absolutely delightful. The food was absolutely amazing - the steaks were melt in your mouth amazing and the truffle mash was the smoothest mash that i have ever eaten! The favourite however was the doughnut with caramel sauce and ice cream. Crunchy on the outside yet so soft on the outside. I will definitely be coming back!

- dined at glass brasserie on

Glass is an amazing culinary experience , the food is made with attention to detail as are the flavours.
Glass decor is elegant and it never disappoints.
Highly recommend it, love it yum

It was a positive experience from the minute we entered the restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food you couldn’t fault. It made our lunch when Mr Luke Mangan himself joined our table to say hi! A real highlight for us all ... the 5 of us that dined couldn’t have been more pleased!

We had a very good experience, staffs were very friendly and offer exceptional service. Food was fantastic. Mentioned to the staff we were here for birthdays. We didn’t order any desserts because we were really full already but they were very genuine and still gave us a plate with “happy birthday” and 2 chocolates. Def will come back for other occasions. Very enjoyed my whole experience there.

Wonderful family meal to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. An uncomplicated menu that offers good quality produce that is just superbly cooked. Our waiter was very friendly and made my 8 year-old daughter feel completely at ease. The truffle mash is always to die for and was disappointed that I had no room for dessert after a perfect steak. The waiter delivered us some truffles on a plate wishing us a Happy Anniversary in chocolate so we were able to end on a sweet note. A lovely touch!

Glass was 10/10 for service, food and atmosphere.

It was a fantastic dinner with my family at glass. I had the fish of the day and my wife had the sirloin. We absolutely enjoyed the food. We have two kids with us as well and the kids meal were great. They almost polished the plates. We also had some dessert, don't miss the creme brulee and the souffle. Highly recommended

I was extremely happy with my first visit to Glass Brasserie and first time using First Table.

The restaurant is well set out and has a lovely ambiance. We had the full Australian Buffet that was on offer by Fust Table and found that there was plentiful variety of food and drinks to suit our group’s dietary requirements which included a vegetarian and gluten free. We were also happy to the Asian and Mediterranean breakfast items available.

My husband and I dined at glass for our anniversary. And the food was amazing and the service was great. The gnocchi was the best gnocchi we've ever had, the steak was cooked perfectly and the truffle mash was amazing. Best of all the waiter took note of our anniversary and when our dessert arrived it had happy anniversary written in chocolate. Which made our anniversary extra special.

Sensational from start to finish. We were shown to a cosy corner table at 6pm where we selected a number of tasty seafood tapas, followed by a shared 450gm steak with the most devine side dishes. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The wine menu was exquisite and bordering on novel-like, offering wines from all corners of the globe. Thank you glass for the perfect evening, we cannot wait to come back.

One of the best experiences. The food and service were impeccable. Luke Mangan even came to the table to wish me a happy birthday. Made my day. Will definitely be back . Everyone must order the Baileys bread & butter pudding. Went to heaven and back.

Apart from the glass enclosed dining room that gives the restaurant its name, the ambience of the high ceilings and minimalist style is comfortable, airy and impressive. The service was attentive, professional, good humoured and just friendly enough to make us feel important and valued as diners. The food was spectacular - as we expected but sometimes memories of meals past are embellished in the fondness of memory.
Not so in this case. The roasted lamb loin, eggplant, zucchini, macadamia, tomato, caperberry was a wonderful dish with hints of the middle east and Aussie flavours. The 100 day grain fed steak MBS 2+ with grilled broccolini and Béarnaise sauce was according to my companion, a dish by which other restaurants should be judged. The wine we selected was Domaine Saint Aix which had a light grenache base and paired beautifully with our dining choices. We finished with a creme brulee which was again, a standard that other chefs could do well to take notes on. Perfect crisp toffee, smooth and creamy custard with an undertone of vanilla bean that was a perfect finish to our pre-theatre dinner. We had positive memories of Glass Brasserie because it was and still is, fabulous. Next time, we might revisit the degustation!

Amazing experience yet again! The food was exceptional, the ambience was so relaxing as always but the service was just off the charts! We were there to farewell someone and the pastry chef created a lovely message on chocolate for us along with little petit fours. Loved loved loved it! Thank you.

- dined at glass brasserie on

Wonderful birthday experience. Warmed bread and olive oil on arrival, gnocchi served on a warm plate for entree followed by a divine steak for main and banana soufflé for dessert. Truly a treat, spectacular service and ambience. Also nice to see Luke Mangan himself roaming the restaurant. Loved it!

- dined at glass brasserie on

The food was exceptional from start to finish. The freshness of the fish we had both as an entree and main melted in you mouth, it wasn't covered with sauces to camouflage the freshness of the fish. We truly enjoyed every mouthful and left on a high feeling light and well satisfied. Complements to the staff for their devoted service. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

- dined at glass brasserie on

The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Definitely recommend it to anyone wants a quality food with a nice ambience. Dessert pumpkin soufflé was absolutely delightful. Cocktail recommendations were also spot on.

- dined at glass brasserie on

Great food. The oysters were divine. Lovely warm bread to start off with...gnocchi was delicious, perfectly cooked.

The mains were perfect,

•Roasted barramundi fillet, prawn, black pepper sauce, Asian greens- the fish was so tender and yet had a crispy skin. My only negative would be it needs more prawns.

•Sirloin - Pinnacle NSW free range grass fed MBS 2+ 250g, Café de Paris- The meat was cooked to perfection, it was so juicy.

Overall, it was a Great experience, great food. Will definitely go back.

Birthday celebrations with family. Great atmosphere and ambience. Food was divine. The salmon was perfectly cooked. I loved the Liquorice “25th Anniversary” with apple & lime dessert. The restaurant kindly served a cake for the birthday which was a lovely gesture. The service was excellent. The staff were very polite & obliging and took photographs of our family birthday celebrations. We would most definitely return here. Overall an outstanding place to dine out.

Wonderful food and service from staff. It would have been nicer if they gave us a decent table, instead of the one in the corner next to the room where staff move back and forth to pack away table cloth etc since the restaurant wasn’t even that busy.

The crab omelette may, or may not, sound great on the menu but it is delicious. Save some of the bread to sog up some of the yummy sauce; it’s too good to leave in the bowl.

Highly recommended! I was ~30 minutes early and have to wait at the bar area (they do open on the dot at 6pm). The venue is very easy to get to from Townhall Station and atmosphere is private and cosy. Customer service is excellent! Whilst we were looking at the menu, a waitress came to our table to show us the meat types on a platter and explanation of what they are and what we will get pending the steak orders. This helps us to visualize the size of each of the steak on the menu. We ended up ordering Rib Eye steak (main), grilled prawns (small) and parfait (dessert) to share between 2 of us. We were served with bread and olive oil (on the house). The Rib Eye steak was a bit tough (outer part) and too chewy (inner) so I wouldn't recommend this dish though the mushrooms and sauces that come with this is yummy. The grilled prawns are to die for!!! I will definitely order this dish again the next time I visit. So fresh and delicious. Last but not least, dessert is ends the meal well. We had a good time and I aim to come back!

Overall good breakfast especially for Australian hotel standards. They have good spread of food including pastries, food for a full english breakfast (bacon, sausages, etc), pastries, good yoghurt and muesli and even some congee. I highly recommend the breakfast especially with 50% off using First Table.

- dined at glass brasserie on

What an amazing night. Food was fantastic, couldn't fault the fillet steak or the rib eye. Service was very attentive and always with a smile. Large wine menu. The vanilla creme brulee was nice, the chocolate, caramel orange and bourbon tart was the only let down, and not because it was bad in any way, just wasn't up to the very high standards set by everything else. Was also a beautiful atmosphere, we will be back!
