Went here for our anniversary. The steak and barramundi was to die for! They even gave us a special dessert and message for our anniversary. Highly recommended

glass is a special event restaurant. The ambiance is slick and busy with servers constantly hovering around. The real treat is the quality of the food, superbly plated and presented, great flavours and great tasting.

I had the most wonderful experience at your world class restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious and well presented and your waitress Lyli was absolutely amazing.
It was my daughter’s birthday and I had invited my two sisters to dine with us, everyone enjoyed their tasty meals, the desert was exceptional, I have to rate your restaurant number one and will most definitely come back!!

Wonderful experience. The re-vamped decor is superb. Each dish of 3 entrees and 3 mains were attractively presented and tasty. Our waiter originally from Indonesia was attentive and had an infectious smile.
Even the background music was great!

Booked Friday lunch to celebrate joint birthdays. We were expecting fine dining and the food exceeded my expectations. Freshly baked focaccia bread with extra virgin olive oil is complimentary - the extra virgin olive oil was so delicious we had to ask for seconds. Impressed to see the wine menu notes which wines are vegan.

Pan fried gnocchi with baby sweet corn and asparagus was delicious - generous portion size for an entree.

Barramundi was amazing - moist but with crispy skin. Chicken skin wafer on top was like chicken crackling.

My partner had roast young chicken which was tender and succulent.

For dessert we had raspberry soufflé with lime ice cream.

Service was attentive.

We were surprised to see the chef Luke Mangan himself make an appearance and greet a few tables.

Very enjoyable meal and we will definitely return.

Our experience at Glass Brasserie was excellent right from the start. Attentive staff, beautiful setting and views of QVB, great selection of food. This is not your typical buffet experience.
Highly recommend the bread and butter pudding with vanilla sauce!

This is a great venue overlooking Town Hall.
The service is excellent and very friendly.
Sadly the food is disappointing and has deteriorated markedly in the last few months.
Pastries and breads are still very good.
Hot foods are lukewarm.
Hot food selection has become significantly smaller.
Beans in watery sauce and slightly under cooked.
All serving spoons lie in dirty bowls of water: don't understand the point of this. Bacteria breed in lukewarm water and looks terrible.
One cheese available among a very ordinary selection of cold meats.
They've removed the salmon as well.
I went to a couple of stunning buffets in Singaporean the previous weekend. The difference in caliber is astonishing.

Fantastic. Absolutely magical!

Was pleasantly surprised at the great quality of this meal, despite it being a hotel restaurant, Luke Mangan has curated a delicious, high class menu that will satisfy all.

Beautiful food and great service. The kids menu was also a winner for us. The staff are so accommodating. We celebrated my husband's Birthday, loved the finishing touch of the surprise cake and candle. Thanks for another awesome experience Glass!

Fabulous service, wonderful food and beautifully appointed restaurant. We shared the crab omelette, then I had the market fish, my friend had the scotch fillet and we shared the licorice dessert. You could not fault anything all lovely presented and delicious, we will be back as we throughly enjoyed our lunch. Oh and forgot to mention the lovely bottle of Merlot from Orange - amazing.

It took a few attempts to get the First Table booking for this venue because it books out very quickly, it was well worth the effort. We had lunch and our table of four were very impressed with the food and service. The Barramundi, mussels & saffron, carrot, fennel, tomato main that I ordered was the best fish dish I have ever eaten.

- dined at glass brasserie on

We had a wonderful time at the glass brasserie. Food, service and ambience were all excellent. My favourite dish of the night was the lamb rump which was full of flavour and melt in your mouth.

It was amazing! Even though we had been booked through first table we were sat in one of the best seats!! The waiters were all so lovely and were so attentive. Filling our glasses throughout the meal and always checking in. I don’t think my wine glass was ever not full! The food was top notch and the whole experience was perfect for our anniversary dinner.

- dined at glass brasserie on

always reliable food and service at a high standard. spacious and well-lit (natural-light) dining room - great ambiance to talk and enjoy great food. see photos. Saw Luke Mangan on the way out, he asked what we had and was happy to oblige for a selfie :)

- dined at glass brasserie on

I was catching up with a friend visiitng from Canada and the setting was perfect for the occasion - leisurely atmosphere and service with attentiveness pitched at the right level. Standard of food was as good as I had expected, but the surprises came from the humbler items - a rocket salad and a green salad that were fresh and well put together, and the best lemon and ginger tea that I had ever had!

- dined at glass brasserie on

Very professional service from start to finish. Oysters 6 ways were fantastic. Steak was nicely done. The restaurant also had a great wine selection. My guest was very impressed. Thank you.

- dined at glass brasserie on

Wow Luke! You've done it again. The prawns in the entrée were so fresh, so large and so delicious. From someone who was in the seafood industry we know how hard it is to source prawns such as these.
The lamb was like marshmallow - the best we have eaten; the snapper was generous and perfectly cooked - how easy it is to overcook seafood.
Together with the mushrooms and the coffee asa well as a superb Vouvray we have eaten spectacularly.
Thank you.

- dined at glass brasserie on

Was extremely impressed From the initial welcome, to the beautiful open feel of the restaurant then to the execution of the food, everything was excellent. Professional and friendly service from an informative sommelier and a lovely surprise hello from Chef Luke Mangan himself. Will definitely be back.
Thank you

We loved our experience. Food was absolutely delicious, and we were impressed with the portion sizes as well (we ended up over-ordering a bit). Highlights were the Scotch steak with a side of mushrooms, and the king prawn entrees. Overall, we can see why it's so hard to get tables here on First Table, it's worth it

- dined at glass brasserie on

Wow what an experience we had. The food was amazing and they had a wonderful selection of wines. Would highly recommend. The desert was the best I have ever had.

On my first visit to The Glass Brasserie for breakfast last Sunday morning, I was very impressed. Although crowded, we were seated promptly at a lovely table overlooking George Street. The customer service was five star and this was matched by the breakfast itself. Fantastic coffee, a large selection of quality hot and cold choices to select from. I went for the vegetable omelette which was sensational. I also really loved the orange and beetroot juice. The ambience of the entire reataurant was humming. I will certainly be returning to The Glass Brasserie at The Sydney Hilton.

We did the breakfast buffet. Great service, it was busy by the time we got there but the tables are spaced such that you don't feel like you are sitting on top of others. Nice selection of food. Nice atmosphere. A special treat to start the day! Will definitely do it again!

I took 2 clients out for lunch and they were really impressed with the service and menu. There's a great variety of meat, fish and vegetarian and vegan options and each dish is cooked superbly with amazing accompanying sauces.
It's a clean, modern restaurant that is great for meetings as not noisy but has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous experience. The oysters 6 ways and the crab omelette at Glass Brassiere to die for. The service amazing! Topped a perfect meal with an overnight stay at the Hilton! Great idea I must say! Great room, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed and fantastic pool! Thank you Glass Brassiere and the Hilton! I'LL BE BACK SOON!

Our experience at Glass Brasserie was absolutely delightful. The food was absolutely amazing - the steaks were melt in your mouth amazing and the truffle mash was the smoothest mash that i have ever eaten! The favourite however was the doughnut with caramel sauce and ice cream. Crunchy on the outside yet so soft on the outside. I will definitely be coming back!

Glass is an amazing culinary experience , the food is made with attention to detail as are the flavours.
Glass decor is elegant and it never disappoints.

It was a positive experience from the minute we entered the restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food you couldn’t fault. It made our lunch when Mr Luke Mangan himself joined our table to say hi! A real highlight for us all ... the 5 of us that dined couldn’t have been more pleased!

We had a very good experience, staffs were very friendly and offer exceptional service. Food was fantastic. Mentioned to the staff we were here for birthdays. We didn’t order any desserts because we were really full already but they were very genuine and still gave us a plate with “happy birthday” and 2 chocolates. Def will come back for other occasions. Very enjoyed my whole experience there.

Wonderful family meal to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. An uncomplicated menu that offers good quality produce that is just superbly cooked. Our waiter was very friendly and made my 8 year-old daughter feel completely at ease. The truffle mash is always to die for and was disappointed that I had no room for dessert after a perfect steak. The waiter delivered us some truffles on a plate wishing us a Happy Anniversary in chocolate so we were able to end on a sweet note. A lovely touch!

I was extremely happy with my first visit to Glass Brasserie and first time using First Table.

The restaurant is well set out and has a lovely ambiance. We had the full Australian Buffet that was on offer by Fust Table and found that there was plentiful variety of food and drinks to suit our group’s dietary requirements which included a vegetarian and gluten free. We were also happy to the Asian and Mediterranean breakfast items available.

My husband and I dined at glass for our anniversary. And the food was amazing and the service was great. The gnocchi was the best gnocchi we've ever had, the steak was cooked perfectly and the truffle mash was amazing. Best of all the waiter took note of our anniversary and when our dessert arrived it had happy anniversary written in chocolate. Which made our anniversary extra special.

Sensational from start to finish. We were shown to a cosy corner table at 6pm where we selected a number of tasty seafood tapas, followed by a shared 450gm steak with the most devine side dishes. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The wine menu was exquisite and bordering on novel-like, offering wines from all corners of the globe. Thank you glass for the perfect evening, we cannot wait to come back.

Apart from the glass enclosed dining room that gives the restaurant its name, the ambience of the high ceilings and minimalist style is comfortable, airy and impressive. The service was attentive, professional, good humoured and just friendly enough to make us feel important and valued as diners. The food was spectacular - as we expected but sometimes memories of meals past are embellished in the fondness of memory.
Not so in this case. The roasted lamb loin, eggplant, zucchini, macadamia, tomato, caperberry was a wonderful dish with hints of the middle east and Aussie flavours. The 100 day grain fed steak MBS 2+ with grilled broccolini and Béarnaise sauce was according to my companion, a dish by which other restaurants should be judged. The wine we selected was Domaine Saint Aix which had a light grenache base and paired beautifully with our dining choices. We finished with a creme brulee which was again, a standard that other chefs could do well to take notes on. Perfect crisp toffee, smooth and creamy custard with an undertone of vanilla bean that was a perfect finish to our pre-theatre dinner. We had positive memories of Glass Brasserie because it was and still is, fabulous. Next time, we might revisit the degustation!

- dined at glass brasserie on

Wonderful birthday experience. Warmed bread and olive oil on arrival, gnocchi served on a warm plate for entree followed by a divine steak for main and banana soufflé for dessert. Truly a treat, spectacular service and ambience. Also nice to see Luke Mangan himself roaming the restaurant. Loved it!

- dined at glass brasserie on

The food was exceptional from start to finish. The freshness of the fish we had both as an entree and main melted in you mouth, it wasn't covered with sauces to camouflage the freshness of the fish. We truly enjoyed every mouthful and left on a high feeling light and well satisfied. Complements to the staff for their devoted service. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

- dined at glass brasserie on

The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Definitely recommend it to anyone wants a quality food with a nice ambience. Dessert pumpkin soufflé was absolutely delightful. Cocktail recommendations were also spot on.

- dined at glass brasserie on

Great food. The oysters were divine. Lovely warm bread to start off with...gnocchi was delicious, perfectly cooked.

The mains were perfect,

•Roasted barramundi fillet, prawn, black pepper sauce, Asian greens- the fish was so tender and yet had a crispy skin. My only negative would be it needs more prawns.

•Sirloin - Pinnacle NSW free range grass fed MBS 2+ 250g, Café de Paris- The meat was cooked to perfection, it was so juicy.

Overall, it was a Great experience, great food. Will definitely go back.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The food was excellent and the serving sizes reminiscent of days gone by. Probably didn’t need the number of side dishes we ordered although they too were great.
The rib eye was top notch and cooked to perfection. The fish was also good. But my favourite dish was the quail entree. Hard to find fault with this restaurant with it’s open, light and upmarket New York feel. Will return.

glass brasserie is a lovely restaurant and I loved the dining space and ambience. Food and service were very good, there were just a couple of issues that stopped me giving 5's.

On 2 occasions the waitperson poured the expensive sparkling water into the free still water glass, mixing it and wasting it without offering to replace it.
I am being picky but this wouldn't happen in a 5* restaurant. She also got one of the drinks orders wrong.

I would have complained and asked them to replace it but I was entertaining employees and didn't want to make a fuss.
Also, my barramundi was very tasty but a bit mushy.

I really enjoyed my experience at glass and would definitely book it again but only as a half price first table. Otherwise I think it's over priced.

Everything was great the food we ordered were exquisite. The vibe and environment I couldn’t ask for more. However, the food was a little too salty and saucy and I’ve asked for medium rare and steak was medium. Other than that the experience was worthwhile! Definitely go back for more but ordering rare steak next time!!

Food was okay s well as the service.

- dined at glass brasserie on

Exceptional buffet breakfast with a very large variety of foods.
The service, especially from Sarah, was exceptional.
All foods were fresh and hot.
The only exception being the poached eggs which were located in a water bath rather than made to order - which I did not have an issue with. The eggs were however left in the container far too long and were cold. I went back and got another helping when I saw the container had been replenished and the fresh eggs were exceptional. They just need to keep tabs on how long the eggs sit there and possibly throw them out if it’s been too long rather than serve a substandard product.
Overall - 5 stars.
