A stoic curry house that has carved its name into Melbourne's diverse dining scene, every Melburnian will know of Curry Vault. And as the name suggests, their winning recipes are under lock and key!

Tucked away in the CBD, you really have to be in the know when it comes to this gem. But isn't that half the beauty of a place like this? They don't need to scream and shout, instead letting their spotless reputation carry their business forward. Once you've found them, it's just a short trip downstairs into the curry vault itself.

But before we get to the curries themselves, how about some appetisers to get the appetite roaring? Classic offerings like vegetable samosas and chicken tikka stand alongside Nepalese dumplings, cauliflower pakoras and goodies from the tandoor.

Now you're in fine fettle for a mesmerising curry. They have chicken, lamb and beef specials which ground themselves within familiar kormas, vindaloos, tikka masalas and saags whilst the chef specials are spicing things up with beef and lamb chilli. As for vegetarians, you're in safe hands with the countless paneer, lentil and vegetable-based curries on offer. Secret recipes have never tasted so good!
