Ventuno 21

From the makers of the celebrated Cerberus Beach House comes Ventuno 21, a unique offering that reflects their love affair with modern Europe.

Founded by culinary duo Jamie and Erica, Ventuno 21 is one of those places that has lots of stories to tell. Not only is it a mixing pot of European cultures and fine food, but it also has a soft spot for contemporary flare. The dining room has plenty to distinguish itself from other bistros, be that the marbled wallpapers, the slick interior design or the cool and moody colour palette that transforms it into an incredibly distinguished destination.

They're going very classic when it comes to their Italian menu. Follow the daily focaccia with some fresh pasta, be that pappardelle topped with a wagyu beef ragu, linguine decorated with prawns and spanner crab, or spaghetti bolognese which, when done perfectly, will remain long in the memory. Up next are the pizzas which all take their cues from traditional Italian flavour combinations.

They also have a selection of other mains that hunker down with the daily catch and seasonal garnishes, and a gorgeous eye fillet that is dressed in your choice of sauce and served with shoestring fries. And seeing as we're going traditional, keep the theme going with a tiramisu or sweet calzone. Well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
