Tuck into some exciting fusion food down at Docklands’ Asian eatery, Merchant Society. This delightful restaurant offers an elevated representation of Southeast Asian culture through its diverse menu offering. It’s the perfect location for a sit-down dinner with your best mates or family or even a celebratory dinner before/after a big event. Enjoy being served the freshest Asian fusion food, made with only the finest produce.

For first-timers, their vegetable spring rolls and beef rendang are staple orders. Be sure to make room, however, for their outstanding fried dishes. The nasi goreng is an authentic Malaysian fried rice, complete with prawns, chicken, carrot and onion. For a unique twist on a classic recipe, try their char kuey teow, a Malaysian-style stir-fried flat noodle dish with prawns, calamari, fishcake, bean sprouts,
and chives. Alternatively, you can savour the taste of a delicious pad Thai, highlighting the Merchant Society as one of the best Asian fusion restaurants in Melbourne!

The atmosphere is relaxed, casual and family-friendly. The perfect environment to try something new and discover what Asian cuisine is all about. The kitchen never compromises on using authentic methods and quality ingredients and provides generous portion sizes. Friendly and energetic staff are always here to make sure that you experience the best of Southeast Asia, and they look forward to your visit.
