In Blackburn, The Groove Train feels every bit the neighbourhood favourite. Modern interiors and warm service set the pace, while the aroma of coffee and wood-fired pizza signals a place that takes everyday pleasures seriously.

The menu stretches wide with confident, crowd-pleasing classics. Mornings start with ricotta hotcakes or eggs Benedict, and as the day unfolds, it’s lamb ragu fettuccine, seafood risotto, or a blistered margherita from the oven. From the grill comes rib-eye steak, crispy skin salmon, and Indian butter chicken.

For something lighter, graze on garlic prawns, nachos, or salads that balance freshness with flavour. Handhelds keep things easy with a wagyu beef burger or chicken and avocado focaccia, and little diners are looked after with simple favourites. End on a sweet note with sticky date pudding or tiramisu, then linger a little longer over coffee.
