In the heart of Blackburn, just steps from the station, 96 Cafe and Eatery captures Melbourne’s brunch culture in a warmly styled neighbourhood retreat. With a cosy mix of indoor nooks and outdoor tables, and ample parking, it suits everything from quick coffee stops to lingering catch-ups.

Classic fish and chips are reimagined with rockling, heirloom tomato salsa, a touch of bonito furikake and wasabi shiso mayo. Scallop fettuccine pairs Hokkaido scallops with XO cream, bacon and gruyère for a dish that is indulgent yet balanced.

Thick-cut chips offer easy, satisfying simplicity while xiao long bao nods to the broader tapestry of flavours that shape the city. Every dish is crafted to delight the palate and spark curiosity.

Whether stepping off a train or settling in for an afternoon, 96 Cafe and Eatery offers easygoing hospitality with polished edges and a welcoming atmosphere.
