Oshima - Beaumaris brings the spirit of Japan's Oshima Island to Melbourne's seaside suburb, channelling volcanic landscapes, hot springs and cherry blossoms into an all-you-can-eat experience. Here, the welcome is warm and unhurried, with a focus on authentic flavours and the easy grace of traditional hospitality.

The menu starts with a spread of shared appetisers, ranging from crispy lotus chips with teriyaki sauce to beef tataki. Fresh platters of sushi rolls, nigiri or sashimi offer a varied introduction that showcases the balance of Japanese cooking.

Hearty favourites like Wagyu beef steak, chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki follow as main courses, each prepared with care and served in ample portions. Panna cotta in green tea or black sesame provides a smooth, subtly sweet conclusion to the meal.

Oshima is relaxed, well-lit and full of energy, allowing you to take your time through every dish. It is a spot well worth visiting if you’re in the area and craving an authentic feast!
