Taking pride and place in Australia's surfing capital, BOBs (which stands for Best of Beer) is riding the wave with prime crafties from Australia and New Zealand and homemade eats that are raring to go.

Whether you're hot off the surfboard, have just left the office or are just rounding off a day spent by the beach, BOBs is where it's at. Join the beer-loving community in their lively, modern restaurant. Thanks to their high ceilings, contemporary design elements and the huge window that allows diners a sneak peek into the gigantic brewery, BOBs is smart and intriguing. It's the perfect place for curious minds and adventurous tastebuds.

They're taking inspiration from all over the world and forming a wicked menu that kicks off with the likes of grilled octopus, sticky pork belly and fish ceviche made from the daily catch. Move on to comforting favourites like their succulent beef burger with heaps of salad and cheese, crunchy fried chicken burger or a deep-fried turmeric cauliflower with an irresistible tofu dressing. Alternatively, you can always push the boat out with a premium ribeye steak.

And whilst you're munching away, you might be wondering what exactly is in that impressive brewery. Well, as the first and only brewery in Surfer's Paradise, they're setting the bar pretty high, brewing gorgeous ales and lagers right on site. That includes farmhouse ales, New England IPAs and Australian pale ale, as well as pilsners from the Czech Republic and their take on the Berliner Weisse. So, whenever you're looking for something really special in Surfer's Paradise, BOB is a really easy name to remember.
