dinner

A venue in which to unleash your inner party animal, Pink Monkey is keeping life fun and unpredictable in Burleigh Heads.

Armed with a rooftop bar, an urban-style eatery and views over the neighbouring ocean, you know right away that Pink Monkey has good times baked right in. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy supper in the cool of the grey-stone dining room indoors or soak in some Vitamin D on the streetside terrace outside. After, there's nothing left to do but hike the stairs to the rooftop where you'll find after-work drinkers, DJs and partygoers who are already a little giggly.

But before you get up to some real monkey business. load up on some Italian comfort food. Enjoy your evening by the slice with any of their stonebaked pizzas that host traditional toppings and heaps of fresh herbs. Then you have the fresh pasta dishes that include homemade ravioli, potato gnocchi and prawn linguine.

If you really want to push the boat out, how about a beef sirloin coasted in creamy mushroom sauce? You can even enjoy it in a sandwich with caramelised onions, cheese, gherkins and jalapeno mayo. After such a feast, you'll be in fine fettle to sample some cocktails up high and watch the sunset. Which other cheeky monkeys will you be asking to join?
