Charlie's of Darwin

Charlie’s of Darwin sits in the heart of the CBD as a vibrant celebration of the Northern Territory. Founded by Bec to harness native botanicals and local ingredients, and was recently awarded the 2026 Hospitality NT Gold Plate Award for Local Produce Champion.

Signature creations feature Kakadu plum and native lemongrass, while the food menu showcases the best of the region's land and sea. The dishes highlight a tropical climate and a diverse landscape.

Freshly baked focaccia arrives warm, paired with seasonal butter or saltbush dukkah and olive oil. Small plates draw inspiration from multicultural NT influences. Steamed bao buns hold pan-fried duck breast and slaw, and the salmon ceviche gains a sharp edge from house sorbet, nashi pear, and kipfler crisps.

Large plates offer unique local flavours, such as the tea-smoked kangaroo with regional vegetables and blueberry glaze, or the crocodile dumplings served with Szechuan numbing sauce and Davidson plum.

Desserts lean into nostalgia, featuring pavlova with pandan-infused chantilly cream or panna cotta scented with galangal.
