Mr Badgers & The Copacabana Club

It might be located in the heart of Brisbane's Woolloongabba, but that doesn't stop Mr Badgers & The Copacabana Club from being an urban oasis where you'll find what can only be described as a European beer garden crossed with a New York city rooftop.

They're taking it back a few decades to the 1940's, making for a unique experience that whisks us far away from the here and now. The whole establishment is wonderfully immersive down to the themed tram compartments that double as great date spots or a location for a more lowkey supper. Everything, from the antique piano to the artwork, elegant lampshades and furniture, is designed to mimic this very special decade in history.

The food is much more modern but doesn't hesitate to pile on the nostalgia of comforting family suppers. After all, who can say no to any of grandma's pies that encase beef ragu, smoky pepperoni and oceans of meaty gravy within the buttery pastry. One can also hardly resist a giant Philly cheesesteak, meatball or grilled halloumi sandwich either!

On a select few nights of the week, Mr Badger's opens its ktichen to serve up glorious pizzas and put their own spin on traditional favourites, so there's more than enough to choose from here. Of course, don't forget to graze on some light bites too if you have room; they form the baseline of Mr Badger's homemade vibe that diners can't get enough of.
