Housed in a prime location in South Bank, Ahmet's Turkish Restaurant is famous for its traditional dishes that taste just like they came out of a home kitchen in Istanbul. Since it opened in 2002, the restaurant's cheesemakers, halal butchers and bakers have been in-house, meaning the taste is as authentic as it gets.

The menu celebrates time-honoured techniques and in-house craftsmanship, with cheesemakers, halal butchers and bakers ensuring every bite is as genuine as it gets. Diners can begin their feast with appetisers made for sharing, such as sigara borek filled with feta, mozzarella, parsley and garlic, or freshly baked Turkish bread served alongside a house-made dip.

Heartier dishes showcase the richness of Turkish cuisine, from the beef pide with tender beef, butter, parsley and parmesan to the char-grilled chicken skewer paired with a bright Mediterranean salad. Each plate is a harmony of flavours, where onion, garlic, chilli and tomato mingle with fragrant herbs and spices that transport guests straight to Istanbul’s bustling kitchens.

With its casual atmosphere and shared tables, Ahmet’s offers more than just a meal. It invites friends and families to come together, divide and conquer the menu, and savour an unforgettable banquet experience that feels every bit like a cultural journey.
