In the heart of South Bank, Barbossa Bar brings a lively Caribbean ambience to Brisbane’s cultural strip. With both indoor and alfresco tables, it's a breezy perch for people watching, a sociable spot for group catch-ups, and a convenient choice before or after QPAC shows, Queensland Art Gallery, and GOMA. From breakfast favourites to hearty lunch and dinner menus, colourful refreshments and a wide selection of food keep the mood buoyant well into the evening.

Sailing effortlessly between island spice and easy-going comfort, the menu showcases distinct tropical flavours. Jerk wings nod to the tropics, while a Caribbean goat curry warms with garlic and ginger, and a Jamaican seafood curry adds richness with coconut cream. There's a tamarind pork cutlet with a honey chilli glaze, beer-battered fish with pineapple slaw, and pan-fried salmon with roast potato and mustard sauce.

Tailored beautifully for sharing, pizzas range from a classic Margherita to bbq meat lovers, and tapas set the tone with cheesy garlic bread, and French-style baked brie dressed with honey, cranberries, walnuts and rosemary.

Come for the island spirit, stay for the hospitality. Whether grazing over small plates, sharing a slice, or diving into a hearty bowl, Barbossa Bar is an upbeat backdrop to riverside days and nights. Swing by for a snack, a refreshment, and a little swagger!
