Since opening in 2015, Baba Ganouj has been South Bank’s ode to Lebanese hospitality.

Family-owned and run, it champions the kind of meticulous care that shows in every plate, from recipes passed across generations to the daily ritual of baking saj bread. Set within stylish surrounds and a vibrant, welcoming room, it is the sort of place where conversations stretch, plates are shared, and the details matter.

The kitchen leans modern while honouring tradition, turning out silky hommos and smoky baba ganouj, bright tabouli and a crisp halloumi salad. Adventurous palates can savour sfiha, while the sea speaks through grilled barramundi fillet served with baked vegetables, salad, rice, garlic sauce, hommos.

From the grill come golden squares of grilled halloumi and chicken wings kissed with garlic and citrus, leading to hearty mains like a generous slow-cooked lamb served on a bed of rice, oriental sauce, yoghurt and cucumber, salad with mixed nuts.

Equally suited for intimate suppers and casual gatherings, Baba Ganouj offers indoor seating and private function rooms tailored to the moment. Warm service, a considered list of beverages, and a finish of house sweets make for a complete, memorable occasion. Book a table, bring your favourite people, and let the saj be your cue to tear, share, and savour.
