One bite at this intimate spot in Brisbane’s Nundah Village is enough to make you realise that not all pizzas are born equal.
Head chef Carlo honed his craft in the town of Treviso in northern Italy and every delicious pizza that emerges from his kitchen is rolled by hand and cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven.
Like many Italian chefs, Carlo divulges years of experience in his respect for ingredients. Everything from the creamy mozzarella to the spicy salami is top quality and market fresh.
Can’t make up your mind? Opt for the Carlo, a mouth-watering blend of Mozzarella, mushroom, zucchini, eggplant, salami, olives and fresh tomatoes or if you’re looking for a satisfying umami kick, the 'TNT' with spicy salami, sausage, chilli, oregano, tabasco is guaranteed to hit the spot.
If you’re swinging by for a quick bite opt to sit outside in their alfresco dining area, but if you’re looking to linger with friends, pull up a chair inside and get stuck into the crisp Cornaro prosecco or a full-bodied chianti red.
