Little Alice Yum Cha brings a breezy dumpling bar sensibility to Manly’s South Steyne. Ocean views sparkle as brightly as the bamboo baskets. As the second outpost from Alice Dumpling, it leans into the Northern Beaches rhythm.

The kitchen keeps its compass set on beloved yum cha flavours. Silky har gow and pork and prawn siu mai lead the opening act, followed by pan-fried pork buns or pillowy barbecue pork buns. Comforting chicken and sweet corn soup sits alongside wontons glazed in chilli oil.

Dishes built for feasting arrive fresh from the wok. Sizzling Mongolian beef and lamb, satay chicken and crispy Shandong-style chicken offer bold choices. Seafood sings with ginger and shallot, while vegetables headline in crispy aubergine with sweet Sichuan-style sauce and mapo tofu.

Gather the crew, claim a sea-view perch and let the baskets roll. Little Alice is ready when you are, with chopsticks waiting and tides of flavour in tow.
