Often referred to as “the best kept secret in Crows Nest”, Monte Alto Eatery & Bar is a café by day and restaurant and bar by night.

This is a true food destination, with a breakfast menu incorporating a host of traditional favourites as well as some unique Monte Alto specialties (coffee-rubbed roast pork? Don’t mind if we do!).

The menu features a host of share fare items as well as burgers, pastas, sandwiches and salads, with the dinner menu comprised of tantalising dishes from smoky pork ribs to Wagyu meatballs and spaghetti.

Known for their special house-blend coffee, Monte Alto Eatery & Bar also has the largest whisky and gin collection on the north shore, and as for their signature cocktail, Dark Stirrings? Let’s just say this salted caramel espresso martini is well and truly worth coming back for more of.
