Price Point: Mains from $15 - $35

Relax and enjoy a memorable evening at The Corner at Queensie, an intimate French restaurant in Queenscliff.

The interior of this venue is inviting, with the exposed brick contrasting with the white ceiling and the warm wooden tables. It’s nice and cosy, making it a great choice for your next meal out with a close friend or a small group of those you care about.

The food at The Corner at Queensie is inspired by classic French Bistrots, that you could find in busy cities like Lyon or Paris. Choose from a selection of share plates, salads and mains, with dishes ranging in style from pork "rillettes" to sirloin steak and of course ratatouille.

Dessert is a must, and the dishes include lighter options, like the fruit tart, and more decadent options, such as the crème caramel.

This is a licensed restaurant, with wine (a well-chosen and reasonably priced selection of French bottles are also available by the glass), beers, and cocktails. Open from Thursday to Sunday evenings, it’s a great place to go if you’re after a casual and delicious night out.

Wish I’d come sooner! So tastefully decorated with lovely music playing gently in the background, and the waitress was great. We had a beautiful dinner, sardine pate with bread and olives was a perfect starter to share, and my slow cooked lamb and my friends sirloin with blue cheese sauce were delish! Unfortunately no room for dessert this time, but have my eye on the lemon citron tart or choc fondant for my inevitable return!!
Lovely rosé went nicely with everything.
See you soon.

Had a fantastic night here. Love the homely restaurant interior, kind helpful staff and unique French orientated and tasty menu. Was pleased by each of the dishes that came out. And again, the staff were a highlight, treated us like kings and queens and made it a top night. Will be back shortly and telling my friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Corner atQueensie.
The food was great and the staff were friendly and very accommodating of my husband’s gluten intolerance as a celiac.
All in all a great meal.

If you want an authentic French meal, but with the addition of beautiful ocean breezes and relaxed and upbeat feel - come here! We are locals. We live 5 mins walk away. This is our coffee spot - but what a delight to realise the evening offering is so well thought out and reasonably priced. Having said that though - be careful - the wines are top quality - not really cheap but good value - so you may spend more than you planned choosing off their wine list!! We chose a selection of mains and all diners were happy - my husband especially loved the "stew"! Dessert is A MUST. And the cafe gourmand which I was so excited to see in Australia was well presented and a hit with us all. We spend a lot of time in France. I know that this will be our "go to" place each time with feel "homesick" for la vie francais... Un grand merci à l'equipe et à tres bientot j'espere!

A very unassuming French restaurant that packed a punch ! The menu was all tempting. The sharing plates were delicious and ample. The mains were fabulous but I was full from sharing plates so had to take half home. I still squeezed in cafe gourmand! Will definitely be back !

The service was wonderful. We celebrated my birthday here and they kindly put a candle on a dessert for me. We didn’t even ask. The cheese board, salmon and risotto was delicious. I really liked how it was quiet and had an open feel to it. Great for classy parties or a romantic dinner.

A former milk bar has become a cafe by day and a French restaurant by evening Thursday to Saturday. The menu is small which is always encouraging and it changes weekly. We started with a sharing plate of French cheeses, had lamb and salmon for mains and finished with the chocolate fondant and lemon tart. Food was well presented and good portion size. Because we were so early we were in Happy Hour and enjoyed cheap drinks as well. This is a small cosy eatery with friendly staff, thoughtful menu and nice touches. It deserves to do well.

Delicious food in a relaxing setting. Next time we'll leave room for dessert!

Even though our First Table reservation wasn't logged - we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived with our choice of table. We were offered samples of wine before choosing a bottle, the lamb (super tender) and risotto (creamy and light) were delicious and well presented and there was a lovely little zucchini Amuse Bouche in between courses. The service was attentive and the desserts (chocolate fondant and affogato) were so worth it. We rolled home happy and full.
