The brainchild of a certain Andrea Nazzari and Valerio Boncompagni, these talented chefs have found fame and unrivalled expertise by working in Michelin starred restaurants in Italy and Australia. A friendship borne of the simple joys of great food, they wanted to create a space for people to feel cosy and warm with loved ones. And their restaurant does just that. A contemporary bistro with rustic, stone-lined walls, a roaring fire, personal photos and towering bookshelves, this eatery has a real sense of home.

Of course, nothing at home is rushed. Savour the evening with some antipasti to go alongside your first glass of red. Merging traditional flavours with modern cooking techniques, we have the cod croquettes with a zesty lemon gel, braised octopus with soft polenta and a velvety pumpkin puree with roasted pepitas.

The theme continues into the main course with classic pasta dishes given the modern treatment. Beetroot linguine can be found with sweet scallops, saffron risotto with veal jus and braised beef shoulder with a celeriac puree and fermented red cabbage. And for pizza? How about four slices of cheese with fresh pear? Or chickpea cream with black cabbage and sundried tomato? This is Italian food reimagined.
