It’s no coincidence that Forli Ristorante sits on Darling Street. Cosy and full of charm, Forli brings a slice of Northern Italy to Balmain with colourful mosaics, open windows, and live music that spills onto the street each Thursday. It’s a joyful blend of Portofino soul and Aussie spirit.

The menu is optimistic, delicious, and handmade wherever possible. Rolled, pressed, and cut daily, the fresh pasta doesn’t get much better than when topped with a chorus of shellfish or a rich, slow-cooked beef ragù. The homemade meatballs are also a must-try starter.

Next up: pizza perfection. Hand-stretched for a crisp, golden bite, each base is light, fragrant, and generously topped with all the classic favourites worth craving. And let’s not forget the mains, which include veal saltimbocca, fresh salmon fillet, and Angus steak.

An international drinks list brings the perfect sip to match every bite – best rounded off with a dreamy homemade tiramisu or a scoop (or two) of luscious gelato. That’s living the Forli way!

Please note: some dishes may vary with seasonal menu changes.
