Experience a gourmet-lover’s paradise at the Belgian Beer Café Heritage. Located in The Rocks, this dining destination combines a love of tradition with the very best in quality, from the classic building design to the menu.

For the uninitiated, Belgian cuisine can be described as being as fine as French fare, and as generous as German. Indulge in house specialties such as the bouillabaisse, a provencale fish stew of soft-shell crab, fish, prawns and mussels. If seafood isn’t to your taste, try the pork knuckle or Belgian meatballs, two dishes that truly pay homage to the classic Belgian style of food. Of course, the grill is also on offer, and you can enjoy a delicious eye fillet or rump steak served with a selection of tasty sauces.

All these meals come with a recommended beer pairing—and at a beer café, would you expect anything less? Indulge in one of the many brews on offer, whether you’re after a draught, artisan-style, trappiste or fruit beer.

This restaurant is easily accessible by public transport and a great spot to bring your friends. The Belgian Beer Café Heritage is a venue you’ll enjoy visiting time and time again.

Had a great night with friends at Belgian Beer Café. The service was happy and friendly and super efficient. The food was great, our friends really enjoyed the beer also.

Great place for a beer, food was just ok though but plentiful. Service was very friendly and attentive. No problem using First Table here.

The food was ok, I had calamari starter and they were overcooked. The belgian hotdog was good but nothing special.about it (no special mustarf or sauerkraut). The french fries were good but not as they are supposed to be since it's a belgian speciality. The beer was good but really pricey.

Great service! We came at 5:30pm when it wasn't busy yet so the service was super quick and nice. The staffs are very attentive and friendly. The food was fast served as well. We had Traditionelle mussels (comes with a serve of chips), a mac n cheese, and 4 beers. Absolutely good experience!

Great food and staff. We were seated immediately and ordered about 5 minutes later. Staff were attentive and plenty of them around the restaurant.
The food came quickly, we had a schnitzel and barramundi. They were both cooked to perfection and couldn't fault them at all.
Will be back again !

First visit to the Belgian Beer Cafe. Staff were very attentive, food was excellent. After eating 1kg of mussels and a main with sides, there was no room for dessert...the Belgian waffles will have to wait til next time!
Definitely recommend a visit.

We had such a great time! The service was amazing, our waiter would check on us and was so friendly. We both had steaks that were cooked to perfection the way we wanted and was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had.

We loved it and will be going back!

The staff were wonderful! The way we were looked after from the moment we walked in and up to the smallest details was incredible. The food also was amazing.. we had a feast with the crispy pork, pretzel, mussels and steak it’s been probably one of the best meals that we’ve had in a long time. And lastly, the ambiance, the place had a lot of character and it was lively. PS don’t forget to grab a beer. We would be returning soon!

Selection of beer is great and the mussels a standout. Stick to the Belgian stuff, it's pretty good (things like fish and chips are average - and pricey).

First impression was it was very open and cold and seats were a bit on top of each other. When we asked to move though the staff were great and it was no issue. The guy behind the bar couldn't offer any advise on the different types of beers which was very disappointing but the waitresses were fantastic, very polite and accommodating. I had meatballs which were delicious but my partners steak which was supposed to be scotch fillet was very very chewy, more like a rump, he had to leave half of it. The waitress noticed this and offered us a free drink which was very appreciated and thoughtful. The garlic and parsley mussels starter were lovely but a slice of bread to soak up the flavours would have made it 10x better. The chicken wings were more like frozen, not fresh, we wouldn't order those again. Overall thanks to the exceptional service we would definitely go again but maybe sit by the kitchen where it felt a lot warmer rather than the open bar where we were, felt very commercial/industrial.

The service couldn't be any better! Both the wait staff were really nice and helped us decide. The food came out timely, nice and hot and was tasty, beef pot pie recommended. The beer selection is great and the ambience is a nice pub feel. Great for family's or groups of friends meeting up.

We had two kilos of mussels. They were very fresh, but a bit small. I'd highly recommend the tomato and chili sauce—the lobster sauce was good too. We had a steak, which was nice but didn't particularly stand out. Fries were very nicely cooked, and the mayonnaise it came with was a delight.

The staff was the highlight of the night. They were very friendly, caring and full of good advice to help us pick the right beers. If you're not sure what to get, pick a Gulden Draak. It was a pricey choice, but very worth it.

Definitely a great choice if you like good food and drinks in a cosy environment. We'll be back!

Mussels were fresh. We wish we knew where we could buy just juicy and fresh mussels. The chips were not typical Belgian fries but were delicious and crunchy nonetheless.

Great Vibe and Cosy Ambience.
Our first impressions was that it had a great vibe and cosy ambience. The place was buzzing but not too noisy. Often when you book the first table you have the place to yourself and it can be a little lonely but not so here.
The staff were friendly and the service was prompt.
We ordered the traditional mussels and the pork knuckle. Both dishes were delicious! There were a mound of mussels that we shared between us and served to be our entree. We shared the braised pork knuckle for our main. No crispy crackling as it was braised but the meat just fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Just literally mouth-watering!
We couldn't fit in dessert but next time I'm going back just to try the Belgian Waffles.
I can really recommend this cafe.

I dined with family at this restaurant pre Vivid! The atmosphere was invitingly warm and cosy on a wet, rainy evening. We ordered the pork knuckle and mussels to share - like home cooking, full of flavour and perfect for a winter's night. The staff were efficient and could not be more helpful.

I ordered moules-escargots to share...unfortunately they were a bit hard from being cooked and reheat in oven. However, I also ordered traditional mussels as main course and they were so delicious!! The service was excellent and fast. Smiling and friendly waitresses making you feel welcome. I mentioned to the waitress my disappointment with my entrée. She explained to me the reason and offered me to chose a dessert for compensation. I chose a Belgium waffle with nuts and chocolat...so yummy!
I recommend this place and will definitively come back for the excellent service, traditional mussels as they were really fresh and delicious and the inevitable Belgium waffle.

You can feel the welcoming aroma of the Cafe when you first stepped into the door step. People dressed well are drinking, eating and chatting casually.
The atmosphere was super comfortable and you couldn't wait to find a seat and order.
Staff are very lovely and hospitable. Some beautiful foreign accents are introducing different Belgium to you. All are very attentive and well-presented.
We ordered meatballs, Traditional mussels ( You can't miss many flavors of mussels!), Belgium chocolate pudding (Super authentic cocoa with the right sweetness and richness, most delicious chocolate pudding we've ever tried, we love it!) and 330mL Taffe beer.(You must order their beer, so many options that you could not try all in one!!).
The interior design is very stylish, spacious and historical. No squeezy seat in the Cafe.
We are very satisfied with the night.
Thanks Belgium Beer Cafe for your excellent services.
Thanks first table for introducing high quality restaurant!
