Britain’s most iconic dishes have landed at NEL - but not quite as you know them

From 4 August, we’re celebrating the classics that have comforted generations: Heinz tomato soup, cheese & onion sandwiches, fish & chips, butter chicken, fish pie, strawberries & cream, banoffee pie and more.

Only this is NEL. Each familiar favourite has been reimagined with native Australian ingredients. Think Heinz-inspired tomato soup enriched with the deep, intense flavour of bush tomato; fish & chips brightened with bursts of finger lime; and Wimbledon’s iconic strawberries & cream transformed with the sweet, fragrant notes of strawberry gum. It’s the best of both worlds.

British comfort food, native Australian ingredients and the creativity and theatre NEL is known for.
