Soi Fire brings a bold, smoke-kissed energy to Sydney, its kitchen centred on a charcoal grill and a punchy blend of Thai and Asian fusion. Set at the vibrant 33 Bayswater Road, it leans into the elemental theatre of flame and ember, where heat, spice and char shape both the food and the mood.

Step inside, where the ambience is intriguing and deliberate: burnt timber and drifting haze sketch a story of reconciliation and transformation. There's a simmering tension turned into harmony, as if past disputes have been tempered into a fiery partnership. The result is a space that feels alive, atmospheric and just a little provocative.

Open Wednesday to Saturday evenings, Soi Fire hits its stride after dark, when the grill glows and the tempo rises. Expect vibrant flavours, layered spice and the kind of tactile cooking that trades in sizzle and savour, with the embers doing the talking and the smoke whispering what comes next.

Ready to lean into the glow? Book an evening, take a seat by the heat, and let the night spark your appetite.
