It was a relaxing early weeknight dinner. We wouldn't know this restaurant without going through first table. The service was very good as the waitress checked on us a few times to make sure everything is well. My husband and I enjoyed our main dishes the most. The duck leg was juicy and tender whereas the beef was perfected cooked. The only thing I would say they can improve on is the dessert options - a bit too westernised given that they are an 'eastside kitchen'. Overall, a very satisfactory dining experience!

Service was excellent. I don't need to show my first table booking info as everything is already in the system alongside reservation.

I was seated with window view and sofa. Customer service was top notch and I would like to thank the amazing waiter and waitresses for an amazing evening with my boyfriend.

Food and cocktail were delicious. I am thankful we got to know about this place via first table. Wouldn't mind coming back again!

Overall it's excellent and I would recommend this place especially when there is a special occasion.

Entrees were great.

My steak was a little under cooked for medium/well.

We ordered two scotchs one neat and the other the rocks. Both came neat. When we told the waiter he just brought out a cup of ice which we then had to scoop into the cup.

On arriving at Eastside Kitchen & Bar we realised they had a special function organised for 4th July celebrations and our booking had not being confirmed. Fortunately for us the staff very quickly arranged for us to eat upstairs at Olio. The service was great, the food delicious and we all enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating our mothers birthday. I look forward to dining at Eastside Kitchen & Bar in the new future.

Fantastic evening out. I'd been before and had a great time, so jumped at the chance to go again.

The location is around a 10 minute walk from Central Station, in the Kensington Street precinct. It may be a bit hard to find for newcomers -- the entrance is near Holy Duck, you'll have to go up one flight of stairs.

We ordered the roasted bone marrow, pate, angus steak, grilled broccolini and mac and cheese. Food came out relatively quickly. As per my first visit, food was great -- it was really tasty. The angus steak was cooked medium rare so quite red in the middle -- I usually prefer medium well steaks but this was great -- the seasoning was perfect. We also shared dessert (forgot what it was called) and it was delicious.

Fantastic ambience and impeccable service. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. Would definitely come back!

You walk into this place confronted by an amazing bar with a very friendly and approachable waiter. We had Bombay Sapphire and Tonic and Vodka and Soda to begin with. This was followed by chicken karage which was so tasty, ggy’s sourdough bread
apple balsamic & olive oil and angus beef tartare
pickled beets, rice crisps which delicious.
Mains were ranger’s valley angus striploin steak (250g)
roasted potatoes, baby peppers heavenly and spaghetti pumpkin mentaiko pasta
salmon roe cooked to perfection. We also had some greens on the side

For dessert we had dessert presentation ‘fire + ice’ which was to die for.

Truly an amazing Food experience and the ambiance, service and hospitality was beyond great. Just a beautiful evening with amazing food and wine.
