Tucked within Porters in the heart of Williamstown, The Lounge at Porters is the relaxed counterpart to its modern Australian sibling. Think low-lit lounge seating, small plates made for grazing, and an easy rhythm that champions seasonal food, quality local produce and genuinely warm service.

The food is unfussy in the best possible way, designed to pair with conversation and a glass in hand. Freshly shucked oysters with lemon whisper of the sea, while a rotating selection of share-style dishes brings together bold flavours, fresh ingredients and simple, thoughtful cooking. It’s all about balance and simplicity, where good ingredients are given space to shine.

The drinks list leans classic and convivial. Poised signatures and salt-kissed blends set the tone, with bright spritzes close at hand. Guests can settle in with a Byron Bay lager or local Pacific ale, while the wine selection ranges from a crisp Sauvignon Blanc to a silky Pinot Noir by the glass.

Settle into the lounge, share a few plates and let the evening unfold at its own pace. Pop in for a casual sip or make a night of it either way, pull up a seat and join the gentle hum.
