dinner

Le Taj brings a vibrant, contemporary take on Indian hospitality to West Melbourne. Rooted in tradition and shaped by local produce, the restaurant offers a dining experience that is both familiar and refined.

The menu begins with comforting vegetarian appetisers, including crisp samosas and hara kebabs made of spinach and fenugreek patties filled with cheese. Smoky, flavour-packed favourites such as chicken tikka and tandoori prawns emerge from the tandoor.

Signature dishes maintain this balance of richness. Chicken tikka masala and the Le Taj special bhuna lamb serve as deeply satisfying mains. Vegetarian and vegan options, such as saag paneer and potato masala, deliver warmth in every bite. A dessert platter of gulab jamun, kulfi, and ice cream provides a sweet, traditional conclusion.

Settle in and allow each dish to unfold at its own pace. Good food and good company come together with ease at Le Taj, creating an experience that lingers long after the final course.
