Filo cafe and restaurant brings a lively slice of modern Greek dining to High Street, Thornbury. Open daily from 7:30 am to 9 pm, it moves gracefully from morning coffees to unhurried dinners, all with a contemporary, accessible touch that suits Melbourne’s easygoing rhythm.

The menu nods to Hellenic traditions while keeping things fresh and breezy. Think Filó open souvlaki, piled with lamb or chicken skewers, warm pita, Greek salad and tzatziki, or an assured classic in Atlantic salmon with steamed veggies and baked sweet potatoes. Lighter options lean crisp and vibrant, from a village salad to the much-loved chicken Ceasar salad. Brunchers are well looked after too, with eggs your way and a generous avo on toast setting the tone for the day.

True to the neighbourhood’s cafe culture, coffee is front and centre, alongside bright juices for a refreshing lift. Families will appreciate the friendly touches, with simple, satisfying choices for little diners.

Welcoming in spirit and modern in outlook, Filo cafe and restaurant makes it easy to book online and settle in. Gather the crew, bring your appetite, and say opa to a good time.
