2 Elements Eastland brings the primal theatre of smoke and flame to Ringwood, Melbourne. Billing itself as Victoria’s premier low and slow grill and smokehouse, it cooks exclusively over fire, with no electric ovens or gas grills in sight. The result is an experience that is as much about patience and craft as it is about bold, lingering flavour.

The menu celebrates time-honoured technique and generous cuts. Think beef brisket eased to tenderness over 12 to 16 hours, pork shoulder pulled into juicy shreds, and a tomahawk steak kissed by open flame. There is playful comfort too: jalapeno cheeseballs oozing with smoked mozzarella, and the stuffed jacket potato piled with brisket, pork trims, pickles and a flicker of heat. Freshness finds its say in the Blood Moon salad, where beetroot, spinach, feta and walnuts meet a balsamic lift.

Sharing is encouraged, with crowd-pleasing platters like BBQ Delight and Bone Collector pairing smoky favourites with bright pickles and house sauces. Expect deep char, gentle sweetness and aromatic smoke in balance, served in a setting that leans into warmth, conviviality and the satisfying crackle of the grill.

Settle in for an unhurried feast and let the embers do the talking. Book a spot, bring your appetite, and follow the smoke to flavour worth lingering over.
