In Preston, Melbourne, Raqwa Cafe and Bakery brings Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours to the table, weaving Armenian touches with a nod to Italy. From mezze to grills and fresh salads, it is a menu built for sharing and comfort.

Begin with a trio of dips with pita bread: creamy hummus, avocado and smoky baba ghanoush, ready to scoop and share. There is depth and tradition in awarma lamb with hummus, while tabbouleh and fattoush deliver brightness, crunch and a lemony lift.

For something heartier, the mixed grill platter gathers tender meats over rice and salad. Street‑food spirit shines in the sajie sandwich (Armenian recipe) and the kofta sandwich with tahini, while a classic pizza Margarita adds a familiar flourish.

Part cafe, part bakery, the mood feels easygoing and well suited to anything from quick lunches to relaxed catch‑ups. Bring friends, order a spread and dip into Raqwa - a little grill, a little greenery, and a whole lot of good company. Ready to tuck in? Roll up, share out and savour every bite.
