dinner

On Chapel Street in Prahran, Death or Glory brings a lively, social spirit to Melbourne’s southside. It is the kind of neighbourhood bar where creative cocktails meet an impressive roll call of whiskies and tequilas, with local and imported beers keeping company at the taps. The vibe strikes a balance between easygoing and electric, perfect for after-work unwinds that turn into late-night stories.

Inside, the mood gets a playful lift: a stylish photo booth for snapshots, themed function spaces for gatherings, and weekend DJs to set the tempo. There is even a pool table acclaimed as the best in town, ready for friendly rivalry and a round or two between sips.

The menu nods to North American bar favourites with bold, satisfying flavours. Think spicy gochujang Korean fried chicken, its crunch laced with sesame, fresh chilli and spring onion. Or a BBQ bacon cheeseburger stacked with a beef patty, candied bacon, onion rings, American cheese, smoky BBQ sauce, roasted black garlic aioli and pickles in a sesame milk bun. Ranch and roasted black garlic aioli are on the side for extra indulgence.

Drop by for a drink, stay for the feast, and let the night gather pace. Choose your glory on Chapel Street.
