On a sunlit corner of Rouse Street, Rock Paper Scissors hums to life in the morning, the espresso machine setting the tempo for a day that stretches from first coffee to last candle.

Cosy inside and relaxed alfresco out front, it's as suited to a quick breakfast bite as it is to a lingering catch-up. It's the kind of neighbourhood café where faces become familiar and service feels like a warm hello.

Under Chef Chris, the kitchen leans into comfort and seasonality, preparing fresh dishes each day with utmost care and easy charm. To commence the day, diners can order a hearty meal of beef brisket eggs benedict or smashed avocado on fresh sourdough.

What began as an all-day brunch and coffee favourite now eases into the evening, with dinner service at every end of the working week. Patrons can dine on a 300g scotch fillet, Spanish paella, or a traditional bolognese pasta.

Drop by for sunshine and a brew, stay for brunch, or return for dinner under a little more candlelight. Bring a mate, maybe the dog, and let Rock Paper Scissors decide the rest!
