dinner

Tucked inside Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, The Groove Train Epping is the perfect spot for a casual catch-up with family or a meal with friends. With a relaxed atmosphere and a menu packed with classics, there’s something to suit every appetite.

Expect bold flavours, generous choices and crowd-pleasing dishes - from pastas like the pan-fried gnocchi and Spaghetti alla Groove to much-loved pizzas like the peri peri chicken and BBQ meat lovers. Handheld favourites include the wagyu beef burger stacked with bacon, cheese and lettuce in a brioche bun, and the steak sandwich with 150g of Scotch fillet marinated in rosemary and garlic on toasted sourdough.

The Pier to Paddock menu embraces Australian and international comforts. Lamb shank, braised in red wine and balanced with rosemary, garlic and tomatoes, meets Indian butter chicken, which nods eastwards with jasmine rice, pappadums and coriander. Sweet endings include an indulgent Nutella pizza topped with strawberries and vanilla ice cream, while the little ones are taken care of with a ham, cheese and tomato toastie and a brekky burger.

Whether it’s a quick bite after running errands or a relaxed dinner with loved ones, this Melbourne favourite has the evening covered. Swing by, pull up a chair and dig into comfort food made like no other!
