It’s official, Eastbourne Alley is Melbourne’s coolest alleyway. Or at least, that’s what we think. Enter a world of hanging plants, luxury outdoor seating, florals galore and stylish staff when you take a visit to this East Melbourne eatery.
Look through the open front section to see what’s on offer for brunch. Try the beautiful and Insta-worthy (it has to be done) avocado on toast, served with perfect poached eggs, and goat's feta and Italian balsamic drizzled on top of toasted sourdough. Or if egg bun dishes are more up your street, enjoy the bacon & egg bun, Boomer style (the healthy, Aussie’s version of a bacon sarnie).
´The brains behind this brunch spot can rustle up more than 20 different coffees, so you know you’re in good hands. We recommend the dirty chai, blending coffee, tea and spices for an unforgettable drink (and so not to forget, can we have 10 sugar lumps please? If it's a unicorn latte you're after, they’ve also very much got your back.
Fancy something sweet? You can't tuck into a slice of cake whilst working your way through the menu. It’s comfortable and colourful at this lunchtime spot. íSay hello to your new favourite weekend brunch spot, we’re sure it’s going to be great mates with EBA is a new spot in Melbourne where the locals can relax with some tasty nosh and have it all as well. Located on a cool new little alleyway, Eastbourne Alley, just near the corner of Wellington Parade and Clarendon Street, it’s chic, fun, light and green. And will be dishing up all the brekkie faves with a funky twist. Think crunchy bacon on toast will be your go-to, let’s think again – it’s a big thing here, so it comes with bacon, egg, jalapenos, cheese, avocado and coriander. Epic.
And for those of you that are a little more adventurous, then the including Korean fried chicken and corn ribs with soy and sesame seeds and the lamb bahn mi with five spice, cucumber, carrot and an Asian slaw.
And there’s something for those with a sweet tooth, too.
