Mr Burton

Mr Burton is Ashburton’s European-inspired café, bistro, and wine bar, where good food and great company come naturally. Guests are invited to slow down, savour their meals, and make themselves at home.

The menu begins with tempting appetisers such as arancini with tomato salsa and aioli, burnt butter ravioli filled with pumpkin and Grana Padano, or pan-fried scallops served with pomodoro and balsamic glaze. Each dish is crafted to awaken the senses and set the tone for a memorable meal.

For pasta and risotto, diners can enjoy classic bolognese, gnocchi tossed in pesto with chicken breast, or the trio mushroom risotto in a light cream sauce. Mains include garlic prawns served with saffron rice or pork belly accompanied by broccolini, smoked pumpkin puree, and apple sauce.
