High Society brings a touch of polish to Armadale’s café scene, balancing comfort with a considered approach to flavour. It is a cosy spot for freshly baked goods and organic juices, with coffee at the fore and a neat selection of cocktails, wine and beer to ease into a slower pace. The mood is unhurried and inviting, made for lingering over something warm from the oven or something crisp from the bar.
Mornings lean generous and satisfying. Simple pleasures sourdough or multigrain toast, or a warmly spiced slice of banana bread toast—sit alongside heartier affairs. The bacon and egg roll layers fried egg, crispy bacon, cheese, burger mayo and a lick of hickory relish, while the Hangover marshals mushrooms, baked beans, spinach, bacon, chorizo and eggs over sourdough for a restorative plate that means business.
As the day unfolds, the menu nods to coastal flavours and modern café fare. A Mediterranean salmon bowl pairs herb-crusted salmon with crispy potatoes, and the Green Goddess Bowl gathers broccoli, kale, avocado and a poached egg under a nutty crunch of almonds. For something richer, chilli prawn linguine twirls prawns, chorizo, basil, tomato and garlic, and a steak sanga offers no-nonsense satisfaction. Fries or sweet potato chips make easy company.
To finish, Hunku Muncha varieties think Chocolate Volcano or Cookies and Cream tempt a sweet tooth. Drop by for coffee, brunch or a glass of something cold; it is high time you joined the society.
