Spice Art Authentic Indian Restaurant brings an elegant slice of North Indian fine dining to Albert Park, its candle-lit room and warm, unhurried service setting the tone for memorable meals. Executive Chef and Owner Harpreet Singh draws on more than two decades in the kitchen, channelling a lifelong passion into organic, homemade dishes and an all-you-can-eat option that feels generous rather than grandiose. It is little wonder the address has become an acclaimed dining destination for date nights, family suppers and celebratory gatherings.

The menu roams from the bustle of the bazaar to the glow of the tandoor. Crisp gol gappa burst with tang, while a vegetable samosa duet shows the comfort of spice and pastry. From the clay oven, the tandoor mushrooms are a must-try, their marinade turned smoky and tender, alongside classics like tandoori chicken and lamb cutlets scented with ginger and garam masala.

Curries travel the subcontinent in flavour and feel: a classic coastal fish Madras with coconut richness; a fiery Goan prawn vindaloo with bright heat; Kashmiri lamb rogan josh, deep and aromatic; and Mughlai lamb korma, luxuriously creamy with almond and cashew.

Conveniently opposite the South Melbourne Beach tram stop, Spice Art makes lingering easy. Book a table, bring good company, and let the spice do the talking.
