Loved the cool setup and thumbs up for the customer service. Their homemade strawberry balsamic soda is so refreshing and the meatballs were a hit with my toddler. Steak was done really well.

Cambus Wallace has a nautical themed interesting atmosphere with music (live entertainment later on). The menu selection is imaginative and tasty, not just your usual steak & chips. The drink options are excellent and the bar is large & well stocked... drinks generally around $10/beer&wine. This was our second visit and we will be back again to try a few other menu items.

Wow, we didn't know what to expect but from the minute we entered The Cambus Wallace we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism!
The food exquisite- deep fried olives stuffed with anchovies, shared and the mains, lamb cutlets and sirloin cooked to perfection! The flavour of the accompaniments so flavorful! We shared a roast pumpkin salad, and honestly, it is the best I have ever had!!
An utterly enjoyable experience!!

My partner and I agreed our FirstTable experience was nothing but an easy, welcoming and enjoyable experience. We sailed smoothly into Gold Coast tapas and whisky bar The Cambus Wallace at Nobby’s Beach, greeted kindly by staff who knew the ropes of FirstTable protocol.
Our voyage of Cambus Wallace’s menu was delightful. We cast off the evening with an Indian-inspired cauliflower and pea arancini balls, the vegan cousin to the traditional cheesy ensemble. The light vegetable filling was carried in a crumbed and crisp vessel, accompanied by a zingy mint yoghurt-like sauce. It was a charming entrée as the portions were great for sharing between two. The creamy texture within was moreish and was a great vegan rendition of an arancini.
Hoping to hold a course with our mains, we chose Angus sirloin with kipfler potatoes paired with buttery garlic broccolini. The wait time was minimal and soon our forks were tucking into well-seasoned delicate potatoes with tender sirloin slices. The warm, buttery greens complemented the meat nicely. All this food sure does make you thirsty and the variety of great drinks could have you docked at the bar all night long! The bar staff were very familiar of all the drinks and were able to make some great suggestions.
Our FirstTable experience at The Cambus Wallace was a success and we can only ask - why haven’t we done this earlier?! 11/10!

This was by far the best meal we’ve ever had on First Table. Amazing service. Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. If you’re reading this review looking for somewhere to go - don’t think twice just book it! You’ll love it.

Excellent food with outrageous flavours. Portions aren't massive so getting the 4 lamb cutlets was a good idea. Choice of drinks is equally impressive. Atmosphere was pumping but still enjoyed a lovely dinner.

What a feast! It’s not often you go somewhere, have a heap of dishes then would want the same thing next time as all just so good I would go again today just for the oysters.

Very moody & atmospheric with personal & friendly service. The prawns and molten chocolate cake were both knockouts but the crispy pork belly on fennel & leek gratin and Brazilian chicken were good. Room for improvement there - Pork skin a little salty and no jalepenos in the jalapeño slaw also expected more spice on the chicken. Found yummy (not enough) sauce underneath too late. Alfalfa sprout garnish used extensively & didn’t belong. Snow peas sprouts, micro herbs cress, anything else would be better IMHO. Great Happy Hour

This place is a little dark quirky nautical style restaurant. We found it a little hard to find. It looked as though they had a DJ but we didn't get to hear any music being played by him. It was a terrific little restaurant and the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Great whiskey bar on the coast. The food was fabulous. We had prawns, Steak, pork and cutlets. Plenty of food for two and a nice bottle of wine to accompany it. Staff we friendly and service was excellent. We will continue to go as we are not disappointed every time we go.

Excellent selection of craft beer so we both had an IPA to go with our delicious share plate arrangement. We had a couple of mains (Lamb Cutlets & Pork Belly) and a couple of sides and just shared it all. Compliments to the chef.
