Excellent selection of craft beer so we both had an IPA to go with our delicious share plate arrangement. We had a couple of mains (Lamb Cutlets & Pork Belly) and a couple of sides and just shared it all. Compliments to the chef.

My partner and I agreed our FirstTable experience was nothing but an easy, welcoming and enjoyable experience. We sailed smoothly into Gold Coast tapas and whisky bar The Cambus Wallace at Nobby’s Beach, greeted kindly by staff who knew the ropes of FirstTable protocol.
Our voyage of Cambus Wallace’s menu was delightful. We cast off the evening with an Indian-inspired cauliflower and pea arancini balls, the vegan cousin to the traditional cheesy ensemble. The light vegetable filling was carried in a crumbed and crisp vessel, accompanied by a zingy mint yoghurt-like sauce. It was a charming entrée as the portions were great for sharing between two. The creamy texture within was moreish and was a great vegan rendition of an arancini.
Hoping to hold a course with our mains, we chose Angus sirloin with kipfler potatoes paired with buttery garlic broccolini. The wait time was minimal and soon our forks were tucking into well-seasoned delicate potatoes with tender sirloin slices. The warm, buttery greens complemented the meat nicely. All this food sure does make you thirsty and the variety of great drinks could have you docked at the bar all night long! The bar staff were very familiar of all the drinks and were able to make some great suggestions.
Our FirstTable experience at The Cambus Wallace was a success and we can only ask - why haven’t we done this earlier?! 11/10!
