In case you were wondering, BKA stands for Be Kind Always, a policy that is upheld by every dish served at BKA Vegan.

This vegan paradise boasts a pure and minimalist interior. Look up and it almost has an industrial feel with its exposed pipes and large wooden beams. Back on ground, it’s spacious and bright and comes equipped with a hipster bar that wouldn’t be out of place in an underground establishment.

The food lacks all animal products but it’s not wanting in flavour. Tuck into a warming plate of mac ‘n’ cheese, which is just as rich and creamy as its dairy counterpart and the eggplant cannelloni is another sublime pasta dish. Alternatively, go Japanese with their mushroom satay ramen.

Enjoy a refreshing glass of Burleigh brewing tap beer on the side. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, choose from an array of white and red wines and a great selection of cocktails; all vegan of course!
