Peppers The Sands is much more than a swish resort. The jewel in its crown is Hanners Restaurant which serves local food, stunning views and a five-star treatment.

Surrounded by a pristine golf course, this place comes out on top if you want to relax. The interior is just as polished - the gleaming floors, clean-cut furnishings and spacious patio make for a proper getaway, even if it's just for a couple of hours.

The menu is wonderfully diverse. Sample some of their small nibbles, like the squid croquettes and spicy Sichuan pork belly. For mains, the adventure continues with their braised beef pappardelle and their naughty-but-nice chicken parmigiana. Vegetarians have no fear, the pearl barley risotto is stuffed with fresh vegetables and comes with a fancy soy milk foam!

If you want something simple and comforting, look no further than their pizzas that come with an assortment of innovative toppings like chilli prawn and smoked chicken bocconcini. Hanners Restaurant is a place of firsts!

Reviews

On a wet and windy night we paid our first visit here. The service throughout our visit was excellent, the two young ladies were friendly and genuinely interested in conversation and making the right impression. We were asked on arrival if we were their First Table booking, they were on the ball. The menu is small and appears tailored to appeal to typical pub food lovers, it's not very original or experimental however the food was fresh and nicely cooked to our order. The wine list is comprehensive with local and native offerings..
We will return to enjoy the view in daylight and the excellent service again.

Emma, our waitress, was great. The service was excellent. The food was very good but I would recommend the smaller steak that came with a greater selection of vegetables rather than the larger, more expensive, aged steak. Overall it was a very good experience for the four of us
