lunch

In South Brisbane’s lively dining quarter, Chu the Phat distils the vibrant rhythms of East Asia into a contemporary Brisbane dining experience.

Guided by Executive Head Chef Brendon Barker, the kitchen draws on journeys through Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea to deliver a menu of punchy aromatics, layered spice and generous umami. It's a culinary adventure rooted in Brisbane’s heart, with precision, pace and plenty of personality.

Snacks set the tone: edamame slicked with soy garlic butter and a lick of togarashi, and Wagyu dumplings glossed in XO and brightened with lime.

From there, the spectrum widens. Sir Harry 6-7+ Wagyu beef rump is tossed wok-hot with garlic chives, while Coral Coast barramundi swims in a silky coconut turmeric sauce, marrying freshness and depth.

To finish, think mango and coconut Weis Bar or a playful condensed milk spring roll with banana mousse. Gather friends, follow your curiosity, and let Chu the Phat do the rest. Chopsticks are ready.
