Perched above Oxford Street in Bulimba, Brisbane, Melrose Restaurant & Rooftop Bar brings elevated rooftop dining to the city’s east. Under the direction of owner-director Anna Pholaket, the restaurant blends South East Asian heritage with contemporary Australian technique.

The menu reflects this balance of tradition and modernity. Guests can expect bold yet harmonious plates such as charcoal-grilled octopus with soy glaze and ikura, and slow-braised beef cheek massaman layered with fragrant Asian herbs.

Designed for sharing, the selection encourages the table to explore. Crispy duck bao and soft-shell crab with sriracha mayo sit alongside refreshing green papaya salad and wok-fried asian greens, creating a spread that moves between smoke, citrus and savoury richness.

For those seeking modern pan-Asian dining in Brisbane with rooftop ambience and attentive service, Melrose offers a polished escape above the bustle. It is a place to gather, share and savour one of the city’s standout rooftop experiences.
